Meet the team
Eilakeisha Spencer, M.ED
Chief Operating Officer
I was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts and moved to the city of Boston in 2008. I have expertise in working with at risk populations and individuals who suffer with mental health. I currently hold my bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in mental health counseling. I’ve worked in various settings such as residential homes, assistant livings, correctional facilities, and outpatient and in home therapy settings. While working in a residential home I served as a positive role model for at risk youth.
While working at the assistant livings assisting with the elderly I ensure that they stayed connected with their community. During my time at the Suffolk county house of corrections I worked as a mental health resource specialists which guided inmates who had served their time to be connected with community resources to reduce the risk of them being a reoffender.
My most present position as a mental health clinician I serve minority clients who are from the inner city that hold many different diagnosis. I’ve been in the mental health counseling field for 6 years. The clients that I serve are youth between the ages of 13 and 18 years old and I have worked with the adult population. I am trained in crisis intervention, first aid, CPR, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
